Moving From Far North

Moving From Far North is for guitar and string quartet. Both electrical and acoustic guitar can be used. The viola has a lot to do and the guitar has a section where improvisation is possible if desired. The guitar plays as a voice among the other four, in other words, the ensamble is in focus here.

Moving From Far North is written for string quartet and guitarsynth. The orchestration (the use of the patches) can be made by the individual guitarist. My indications are based om my Roland Gr-1, that was stolen. Now I use Roland Gr-33, with new possibilities. If the guitarist prefer to play "clean" guitar, that can also be done.
The Viola has been dealt the role of the "story teller", so everybody that plays Viola can hold their head up high to their string colleages. No more Viola jokes wanted here.
