Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

In many ways 2001 marks a turning point for me: The Coro Kallos commisioned work "Tir'd with All These", the Yokohama Jazzpromenade, TV and radio shows, touring the Norwegian coast with Swedish jazz guitar legend Rune Gustavsson, all leading to increased attention from the public and the press.

My personal zenith was seeing and feeling the expressions on the faces of the Coro Kallos choire and their conductor Mr. Fumiaki Kurima upon the second summoning to the stage, after the 20th Anniversary Concert in KIOI hall. I will bring these sentiments along on my journey.

A warm thank you to my dear friend and collegue Harune Miyake, for her belief in these projects, and for contributing with music and devotion. Thank you Haruna.

Thank you to everybody showing interest in all corners of the world.
I will continue doing my utmost to draw near the most fleeting art of all: Music.

- Odd-Arne Jacobsen
